Awwwwwwwwwww damn. You were doing so well except for the fuckin corporate military Profiteers like Haliburton. The military, and war is corporate welfare. Old fat white men who put our bravest and best young lives at risk to make a profit and we are taxed so they can do so. Iraq? Vietnam? Really? Bases all over the world for what? Evil incarnate. Been going on since the dawn of time. And no one buys the Kool Aid more than we do. And people wonder why we're hated all over the world.

I am for a strong military, this Nation and it's people deserve the best. I am against private corporations being involved in military matters, it is not their place, if a job requirement is needed it should be provided by the Armed Services. I also believe the military budget has a lot of room for budget reform, far too much waste. As for bases overseas, I believe most of them can and should be closed, with some exceptions. On wars, I come from a family that has served in numbers few familes do, my father served, my uncles and cousins served, I served and so has one of my sons, we are the LAST people that want more war, after all it is us that has to fight them for others that avoid serving but love to rattle their sabers. Vietnam was a mess and could have been avoided, and I was against the second war and invasion of Iraq. Do not assume I support the system as it has been operated for so many years, but that does not mean I do not support this Nation having the best military we can.
