I've been saying for awhile, don't rely on the polls and get complacent.. Romney can win this race. Just read any comments on any news story (political or not) on any website and you'll see nothing but extremism and hate towards Obama and liberals.. Yes, Romney can win even tho daily tracking polls showing Obama with big leads in many states..

just look..

Quote
The poll indicates Democrats overwhelming supporting the president and Republicans overwhelmingly backing Romney, with independent voters going for Romney by a 49%-41% margin, which is within the sampling error for independents.
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/10/01/battle-for-presidency-remains-close-in-new-cnn-poll/?hpt=hp_t2

for an incumbent potus to have no slam dunk lead this late in the game...? Yes, Romney can win!

Quote
Fifty-percent of likely voters questioned in the CNN survey, which was released Monday, say that if the election were held today, they would vote for the president, with 47% saying they would support Romney, the former Massachusetts governor. The president's three point margin is within the poll's sampling error.

Three other national polls of likely voters released in the past 24 hours also indicate a tight race. The other surveys are from ABC News/Washington Post, Politico/George Washington University, and American Research Group. A CNN Poll of Polls which averages all
four surveys plus a Fox News poll released late last week puts Obama at 49% and Romney at 46% among likely voters.

those numbers uber-close.. and how many of those people voting "D" are going to find out they can't vote this year because their state changed the rules and they didn't think it affected them so they never did anything about it?

How many (D) voters were registered by the fraudulent registration firm  the GOP just got busted using will come to the booth and find out that hey, their registration just didn't make it to the voter's registration office?

John McCain lost one state, NC I think, by 14,000 votes... not a huge margin of victory for Obama at all.. that amount could easily be turned away because they don't have a new state mandated ID.

all of this complacency and almost smugness I see about how Obama's got this in the bag is dangerous.. Romney is running at 47%.. even after his 47% comment, even after his party's 'legitimate rape' comment, even after his taxes, even after 'the chair', even after Paul-medicare as we know it-killer-Ryan,even after the horrible showing on his foreign policy trip insulting every country he landed in, even after all of it... Romney is still within the margin of error... he's still that close to winning against an incumbent president that 60% of the voters really like..

This isn't over, nor is going to be a cake-walk...

Every day between now and election day, with the exception of the Sunday before, I'll be driving people to the polls.

It's our civic duty.

I just double checked my status last week, because even though I was 99.9 percent sure I was up to snuff...I wasn't 100 percent sure.  That voting, has come to THIS, is such a fuck'in travesty...it really is.

Now, with the news out that voter fraud is literally almost non-existent...even knowing that...these assbags just skip right past that gigantic chunk of reality that's in their face, and keep on promoting and believing what they've been instructed to believe.

Even if I thought it would help my personal choice for candidate win, I could NEVER condone these Voter ID laws that disenfranchise so many eligible voters.  I can't chew on that, at all.  "You know Mrs. Smith can't vote now. She was turned away from the polls."  "Eh, she'll get the shit she needs by the next election."  That kind of mindset is unconscionable to me.  Fuck'in treasonous to be exact. "I guess she didn't want to vote bad enough." "You understand that reasons X, Y, and Z prevented her from getting what she needed, yes?" "Not my problem." I want to nutkick all these horse cunts.
