I actually did something like that during the primary. Some lil old lady in front of me was told she couldn't vote because her DL had expired. She and her husband had been bussed in from a local retirement home, said she hadn't driven in years. But she still had her DL.
I asked the person who told her she couldn't vote that she could sign a conditional ballot and they could compare her sig with her voter registration. Bitch says"Oh yeah" and let her vote. I meant to start a thread then but forgot. I took a pic with the phone will post tomorrow.
Here's the pic:

YES YOU DO NEED ID!!!!!!!!!we have new laws in effect THIS year..
The clerk or inspector shall require each elector, upon entering the polling place, to present a current and valid picture identification as provided in s. 97.0535(3)(a). If the picture identification does not contain the signature of the voter, an additional identification that provides the voter's signature shall be required.

Voting at the PollsBack
On Election Day, the polls are open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. and are normally less busy during the mid-morning and mid-afternoon.
If you do not know the location of your polling place, contact your Supervisor of Elections. Also, Supervisors of Elections have precinct and polling place finders on their web sites to provide you with the information on where to vote.
At the polls, you will be asked to provide a valid picture identification with signature. The following photo ids will be accepted:
Florida driver’s license
Florida identification card issued by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
United States passport
Debit or credit card
Military identification
Student identification
Retirement center identification
Neighborhood association identification
Public assistance identification.
If your photo identification does not contain your signature, you will be asked to provide an additional identification that includes a signature.
If you do not have the proper identification, you will be provided with a provisional ballot. Your provisional ballot will count if the signature on the provisional ballot envelope matches the signature on your voter registration application.
if you don't have one, they'll give you a 'provisional ballot' ...which aren't counted until 10 days AFTER the election day..
bring ID.. and show it!
I wonder if this applied in her case since she had the ID, it was just expired?
