Is the Mormon Church conspiring to take advantage of a Romney win? What are their plans? Will the church amass even greater wealth through and as a result of a Romney win to convert the people of the world to their religion?

Are we seeing fulfillment of the White Horse Prophecy?

I've never been a conspiracy theorist, but this is scary as hell.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will rapidly increase the number of missionaries it sends throughout the world, church leaders have announced.

Speaking Saturday at the church's semi-annual General Conference in Salt Lake City, President Thomas Monson, the church's top leader, said the church is lowering its age requirements for both male and female missionaries. Men will now be able to embark on missions one year earlier at age 18, while women can now go on missions two years earlier at age 19.

According to a statement on the church's website, the new rules "will significantly increase the number of missionaries" for the church, which has 14.4 million global members and places an emphasis on encouraging its members to do missions, a majority of which are focused on proselytizing.

The move indicates the church is investing more in growing its membership while also aiming to get its younger members -- many of whom drift away from the faith in college -- deeply involved in promoting the faith right after they graduate from high school.

"The Lord is hastening His work," said Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, a member of the church's high-level Quorum of the Twelve Apostles who explained that the church needs extra missionaries to spread the faith around the globe. There are currently about 58,000 Mormon missionaries throughout the world spread among 347 mission areas, down from a high of 61,000 in 2002. The church has seven million members in the U.S. and has experienced quick growth in Africa, which is home to half of the 20 countries with the fastest-growing Mormon populations, as well as in the Caribbean.

Could this really happen at the hands of the Mormon Church, Mitt Romney, and Glenn Beck?

For many Mormons - Glenn Beck, for example - the White Horse Prophecy not only presages the theo-political coronation of Romney, but it adds divine approval to condemnation of Obama and the evil of liberal politics. In the last month, however, Romney has splashed a lot more mud on that white horse.

First, let's add to Romney's dishonesty merit badges his complete and utter silence on the Republican Party's voter suppression of the young, the poor and minorities. Remember, Mitt, how you told us how much it meant to you that you saw your father "march with Martin Luther King in Detroit." Another lie. Evidently, you didn't envision them marching to the voting booth. If Romney cared one whit about civil rights, he would stand up to his party's bald-faced machinations to steal the election, sabotage our democracy and deny the cornerstone of those civil rights he claims to care so much about.

I'm sorry... but Mormon is a fucking weird religion..

I know they all are in their own way... and I know it's not very progressive of me to say this..  but how can anyone who believes in 'Mormonism'.. believes it for their life and the kids life... be competent for anything? Catholics, Protestants, Baptists... they all have minor differences.. but are pretty much the same story.. even jews have 1/2 of the same story..so voting for and following any of them would be deemed acceptable by the bible..

She recently said that, as an observant Orthodox Jew, homosexuality is an abomination, according to Leviticus 18:22, and cannot be condoned under any circumstances. The following response is an open letter to Dr. Laura which was posted on the Internet.

Dear Dr. Laura:

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from your show, and try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination... End of debate.

I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some other elements of God's Laws and how to follow them.

1. Leviticus 25:44 states that I may possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness - Lev.15: 19-24. The problem is how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

4. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is, my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

5. I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath.Exodus 35:2. clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself, or should I ask the police to do it?

6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination - Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this? Are there 'degrees' of abomination?

7. Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle- room here?

8. Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?

9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev.19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? Lev.24:10-16.

Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair, like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

I know you have studied these things extensively and thus enjoy considerable expertise in such matters, so I am confident you can help. Thank you again for reminding us that God's word is eternal and unchanging.

That's why I love him.. he has heart and real passion and love for the game.. it's 'pure'.. not distorted by just wanting to make a quick dollar..  That speech became legendary...and after giving it.. he went on to win 10 consecutive games..
