Jesus.. he'll promise the moon won't he.. while in Virgina, Romney promised more Virgina class subs and ships each year to the navy, even though they don't need or want them..

Quote
Virginia-class attack submarines were thrust into the presidential campaign spotlight Monday when Mitt Romney said at Virginia Military Institute that he wants to ramp up production to three subs a year.

The nuclear-powered submarines are built jointly by Newport News Shipbuilding and General Dynamics Electric Boat in New England. The two shipyards, which have been building one sub a year, are already making investments to increase production to two boats a year.

Romney said he wants to go a step further.

In his speech, Romney repeated a line he's used before about bumping up overall Navy ship production to 15 ships a year from the current 11 "to restore our Navy to the size needed to fulfill our missions."

For the first time, he specified that his 15-ship goal includes three submarines.

I get that candidates promise stuff to get votes... but I don't think I've ever seen it on this scale... I don't remember McCain promising every person he met something to get their vote.. I remember general 'group' promises.. but Mitt brings it to a whole new level.. He'll give seniors and those 55 and up all the SS and medicare they can stand, he'll give each state more teachers than they know what to do with, he'll open every college to more 'tech-like' training classes in every city in America,he'll repeal all the parts in Obamacare that pay for it and keep the parts that cost money, he'll lower taxes on everyone across the board,he'll give the military more money than they want or need, he'll make this country energy independent by 2020,he'll save the environment and he'll reduced regulation on coal, arctic drilling, off shore drilling and fracking.. he'll also lower cap gains taxes to zero, keep the eic and mortgage tax cut, pell grants and title 1... and it won't cost us a single penny...

he's gonna give us everything our hearts desire.. and it's not socialism or big gov't.. it's job-creating govt austerity and national security..

Stewart had a great segment on this last night to explain how Mitt's going to do it....

John should know now, it wouldn't matter what Mitt Romney says. WHATEVER get's Barack Hussein Obama out of office is job number 1!  It's amazing that the internet and our media culture offers instant access to fact check almost anything anyone says against what they've previously said or remarks made in the moment...but it has to be a Comedy Show that does the news and journalists job. AND I might add...he (and staff) does it in detail in 8 minutes or less usually.  Bang...done.
