the only complaint I have is the use of that specific Romney clip in a piece that didn't address what he said.. he didn't say he didn't make money or never outsourced, he said Obama was crazy for thinking there was deduction for moving a plant overseas.. which there is, it doesn't matter if you move across the street or over to Asia.. there are tax breaks associated.. not 'special ones' that Mitt implied.. but normal ones..

anyway, the content didn't match the sound bite..*shrug*.. but still a good listen-to.

I hope Obama rips him apart. Why? Because a. Thanks to Mitt's retirement agreement, he's making money off this. and b.

Workers facing outsourcing at Freeport’s Sensata Technologies plant and community supporters held an “Outsourcing Pig Roast” Saturday, Sept. 29, at the “Bainport” encampment, across the street from the Sensata plant, where many workers have been camping out for the past 18 days.

The employees are continuing their efforts to call on former Bain founder and CEO and current Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney to help save their jobs.

At the pig roast, workers raised concerns about Romney’s attempts to shift the blame for outsourcing to President Barack Obama (D), recent reports of Romney’s tax breaks on his personal Sensata stock, and newly-surfaced video of Romney from 1985 explaining how Bain Capital buys companies to “harvest profits.”

“When I heard Mitt Romney say Bain Capital buys companies, runs them for a few years, and then harvests them for profits, it was like a slap in the face,” said Tom Gaulrapp, who has worked at the Freeport plant for 33 years. “People ask me why we are focusing on Mitt, and his comments show why: he’s the guy who created the model of harvesting profits by shipping good American jobs to China.”

Romney's campaign's answer is, of course, that he knows nothing about any of this, because he's retired, blind trust, blah blah blah, others lies and excuses:

"Gov. Romney is not familiar with this issue and has not been involved in the management of Bain since 1999," said Romney campaign spokesperson Amanda Henneberg.

Workers at Bain-owned company Sensata Technologies continue their struggle to get Mitt Romney's attention and help in keeping their jobs from being sent to China. Romney is an investor in the Bain funds that control Sensata.

But when the workers went to a Romney campaign office to deliver an open letter to the Republican presidential nominee, staffers locked them out, then called the police. Luckily, the police officer who showed up was happy to deliver the letter for them.

And, finally:

While the workers and the town may suffer, Romney himself has done well as a result of Bain's work with the company. According to his recently released 2011 tax returns, Romney transferred $701,703 worth of Sensata stock to the Tyler Charitable Foundation, a 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit controlled by Romney. The gift is listed on page 323 of the pdf, on form 8283 (below).

Quote
Moving the stock to his nonprofit brings Romney twin benefits. First, he gets to deduct the full value of the stock. At a 35 percent tax rate, that's nearly a $250,000 benefit. At 15 percent, it's just over $100,000.
