are god damned killing my business with all this "financial cliff" shit. People (except the 2%), especially geezers, are scared shit less about their wallets, taxes, investments, and especially entitlements. And when that happens they keep their wallets closed shut tight. It'll probably stay this way until after the first of the year. If I saw Mitch McConnell or cry baby John Boehner I'd drop trau and just piss on them! Cocksuckers! Nothing matters to them except their fucking ideology. I'm so glad that they're the party of "business".

He also wants to require senators to actually stand and speak during a filibuster -- the way they used to, and as was seen in the movie "Mr. Smith Goes To Washington."
"We have this crazy idea ... that if we're going to have a filibuster, you have to stand and say something, not hide in your office someplace," Reid said on the Senate floor. "We are making simple changes. We're not changing the Constitution, we're not getting rid of the filibuster ... We're making three simple rules." Hell Yeah Harry Reid! make the fuckers stand there and read War and Peace without a fucking bathing break..or until the have to end their filibuster.. and Fuck Turtle McConnell for being "Oh my Miss Scarlet, this mean old man is acting going to make us work" about it..

I hope you explained to the old coots that the pubs were the ones that put all this gloom and doom (OMG! The niggrahs going to take away my Medicare!) in their fucking heads. I'm going to repeat myself. Let it go over the cliff. have a dem introduce a bill with everything 'we' want, including single payor. They'll have to pass it. (Lol...the iPad didn't want me to type the n word)

I don't think we can this time, can we? we could have done that last time.. but since we lost our AAA rating from just getting to line of the cliff.. so now we pay a higher interest rate on what we have to borrow.. I don't think we can do it this time and risk another drop in the rating..
but it would be nice to not give into the terrorism from the right.. then on Jan1 introduce a package giving the tax cuts/raises we want and sit back and watch the GOP twist, turn, filibuster and either vote it or not..But I don't know how good for the country this would be, I haven't read enough on it to make a well-educated opinion..
although, it worked for Clinton.. it could work again.. *shrug*

As I heard a politician say on CSPAN today (didn't get the name - just in the car briefly with the radio on), the problems we face as a nation are not terribly complex. They are all solvable. It is only politically that they are impossible to solve. So that is where we are - solvable problems but impossible politics. If we go over the cliff and they take us with them, then throw them all out. Cross party lines if necessary, but start over with a new crew. If you are in a red state, vote blue and throw the bum out. If you are in a blue state, vote red and throw the bum out. Tell them that the country, not their damned parties, is the issue.
