"They won the election, (but) they must have forgotten that Republicans continue to hold the majority in the House. But the president's idea of a negotiation is, 'Roll over and do what I ask,'" Boehner said.

uh..

Yes, "They" won the election.. so Yes that means YOU roll over and do what he asks yo to do! Why? Because he won the election and he won it on a "end the bush tax cuts for the wealthiest 2%".. it's a no frigging brainer.. That's the whole idea of 'victory'...he gets the upper hand in any negotiation and you have to fucking take it because you lost!

Obama wasn't coy about what his plan was, he was vilified for it for months.. he gave 100's of speeches on it.. Clinton laid all out in a thing of beauty at the convention..  there was a question before the country, it was answered.. resoundingly!

oy vey..

what has to be drilled over and over from now until 2014 is this part..

"they must have forgotten that Republicans continue to hold the majority in the House"

That right there is what should not be forgotten.. want to know where the hell the problem is? It's right there.. the Republicans continue to fuck up the system...because they can't understand how elections work.

Facts are the center. We don’t pretend that certain facts are in dispute to give the appearance of fairness to people who don’t believe them.  Balance is irrelevant to me.  It doesn’t have anything to do with truth, logic or reality. ~Charlie Skinner (the Newsroom)
