The human turtle has outdone himself. This is funny and sad all at the same time. Turtle man passed a bill, thinking it would not get enough votes. Harry Reid calls his bluff and lo and behold now dumbass Mitch is filibustering his own fucking bill. NO wonder congresses approval rating is 2 points below Satans. I can't wait for my republican friends to blame the lack of a budget on Obama, when the minority leader of your own fucking party is filibustering his own G.D.  bill. Party before people.

I read this, then saw a beautiful break down on Stewart last night.  Watching McCaskill, while she presided over this particular session, pull out that "Whiplash" line as Turtlehead filibustered his own proposal, was comedy timing at it's best.

These fuckers are a scourge. A literal scourge.  They're paid ungodly sums of Money to literally do, nothing.  Hell, Reid highlighted as much by admitting he hadn't actually read the bill and was waiting for his aides to read through it and give him the break down. Do you read *anything?*  You've been on the hill now since creation...I'd think you and many of the other forever Senators know the in's and out's of reading proposals.

In the first two years of Barack Obama's presidency there were 130.

Amazing...and to think this is a newspaper from his own frikkin state!

McConnell has made a mockery of the Senate. From his "My goal is to make this a one term presidency" to this, he has done nothing but obstruct.

His own stupidity here probably will result in filibuster reform. Good.
