The current form of the GOP couldn't exist if honest to goodness contradiction wasn't part of their ideology. And that's because they've adopted the "rational" of the religious right...who are pretty much who the GOP are today.

Want less abortions? Remove (or ban altogether) Birth control and sex education from the equation. Wha?

Want less gun violence? Arm everyone. Wha?

Want to close the gap quicker between the deficit, while reducing Government spending? Remove taxes from the equation. Let all Corps. pay zero in taxes. Wha?

Not all law abiding, taxing paying citizens deserve, or are due, the same rights all other law abiding, tax paying citizens enjoy. Wha?

Even when the capitalistic tendencies of a few, can shake and erode the very foundations of the entire nations economy...don't address it. Wha? (to be fair, this ones a push on both parties)

We have the best health care in the world. 50 plus million people don't have health insurance...thems da brakes. Wha?

The list goes on and on and on.
