While discussing the contentious confirmation hearings for defense secretary nominee Chuck Hagel, things got a bit heated on Sunday's "Meet The Press" when Sen. John McCain referred to the lack of information from the White House surrounding the Sept. 11, 2012 attacks in Benghazi as a "massive cover-up."

"There are so many answers we don't know," McCain told host David Gregory. "We've had two movies about getting bin Laden and we don't even know who the people were who were evacuated from the consulate the day after the [Benghazi] attack. So there are many, many questions. So we've had a massive cover-up on the part of the administration."

Gregory then pressed McCain on what the Arizona senator meant by "a massive cover-up."

"I'm asking you, do you care whether four Americans died?" McCain said. "And shouldn't people be held accountable for the fact that four Americans died?"

"Well, what you said was the cover-up--a cover-up of what?" Gregory asked.

"Of the information concerning the deaths of four brave Americans," McCain replied. "The information has not been forthcoming. You obviously believe that it has. I know that it hasn't. And I'll be glad to send you a list of the questions that have not been answered, including 'What did the president do and who did he talk to the night of the attack on Benghazi?'"

This Benghazi thing is so bizarre..  it started with Mitt making a 12am PC condemning Obama, not the violence but Obama, while the attack was still going on.. to walk that back, the gOP had to circle him and start in on their questions..

then they never show up to their own hearing designed to get the answers they're asking for...instead they hold another PC whining that they aren't getting any answers..

then they demand to speak to Susan Rice and HRC.  She backs out because of a fall. which in gOP world is turned into "she's scared,she's lying, she's incompetent she didn't really fall,she's not really ill"...But Susan Rice does shows up and answers everything.. and days later HRC  is admitted to the hospital for a brain-blood-clot.. and to walk their idiocy about her 'faking' her 'sickness' from a cpl days before.. they hold another PC demanding more info and saying Susan Rice wasn't truthful.. Susan Rice had nothing to do with anything, but it's a massive cover-up because she was given the same talking points the congressmen questioning her were given..

from the minute Mitt prematurely ejaculated  on this issue with his PC, to the missing their own hearing, to the HRC isn't really sick... they had to increase  their dementia to take the spot-light off their partisan bullshit..

they've gone from asking "who told you to omit that "terrorism" word".. "why didn't we invade the country to save these people".. "what did you see on live-stream"... to now demanding to know what Obama's thoughts and words were from the minute he was told until today..

and to prove just how serious they are, to show what lengths they'll go to to remove all the glaring,retarded fuck ups the GOP has made on this witch-hunt.. they'll do what hasn't been done in the history of this country.. they'll filibuster a Sec D candidate..

I guess what I'm saying (inarticulately-lol) to cover one fuck up, they make another, to cover that one, they make even more and to cover them all.. the party of "the constitution" and "the founders".. breaks 200+ years of precedent with a Grand Fuck Up.. all in the hopes that we won't notice Mitt Romney attacked a sitting President while an attack that killed 4 Americans was taking place..

if you don't think it's partisan-politics at play and really really is about the 'questions"..

explain why...if it's a chance to gain a seat in the senate, like it was with Kerry, they'll sweep the candidate into his new cabinet position without a hiccup..

this Benghazi thing is the reason Obama fucked up by not holding Cheney/Bush/Rumsfeld/Rice and the rest responsible for lying to us.. when he came into office he said there wouldn't be any investigations.. I guess in the hopes of gaining some peace and goodwill because the Gop was freaking out that he'd ask them *egad* questions..

he should have demanded hearings and answers because the more stuff comes out, the more glaringly treasonous that administration was..

this Benghazi thing is the reason Obama fucked up by not holding Cheney/Bush/Rumsfeld/Rice and the rest responsible for lying to us.. when he came into office he said there wouldn't be any investigations.. I guess in the hopes of gaining some peace and goodwill because the Gop was freaking out that he'd ask them *egad* questions..

he should have demanded hearings and answers because the more stuff comes out, the more glaringly treasonous that administration was..

And let me add to this...

If you think this Benghazi tragedy is the ultimate in partisan overkill...just wait for the next attack.  Oh and there will be another attack, or attempt.  It's an ant bed that we can't completely eliminate...because you can't annihilate an ideal. And the God love'in, gun tote'in, wanna be warriors can't STAND that a Dem President made more headway in whittling them down...than the 8 years they spent fluffing their own balls as the ultimate bounty hunters of justice.

It's like the sad dude who never realized he wasn't really *all that*, no more or no less than anyone else he imagined he was better than, at...*whatever* (in this case, war and PROTECTING AMERICA!)...only to have a new guy come on the scene, who actually IS fucking better, in every way, related to the one last thing sad dude thought he had sewed up.

So when the new guy kicks the ball a little shorter (which is still better than anything sad dude did) than his longest kick...sad dudes gotta let everyone know. Sad dudes gotta point that shit out in bright glaring neon. "See? See!!!???"

The most vocal in the GOP, the ones that nab the most face time, aren't backing off this and many other things that are imploding and destroying their party.  They've become sad dude in every conceivable way. A few in their party have figured this shit out, unfortunately, they're not the party leaders...or at least anyone that anyone else in their party gives a shit about or would follow. 

I give them another 10, maybe 15 years tops, and the party of Lincoln will be relegated to little guy, third party status...if not almost completely defunct.
