to keep his trap shut. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3dwajGCNso&feature=player_embeddedROMNEY: We did very well with the majority population [read rich whites], but not with minority populations, and that was a failing, that was a real mistake.
CHRIS WALLACE: Why do you think that was?
ROMNEY: Well, I think the Obamacare attractiveness and feature was something we underestimated, particularly among lower [read blacks]. And, uh, just didn’t do as good a job in connecting with that audience as we should have.

Well, I think the Obamacare attractiveness and feature was something we underestimated, particularly among lower [read blacks]. And, uh, just didn’t do as good a job in connecting with that audience as we should have.it really bugs the shit out of me that he still thinks it was the 'obama-give-aways' that lost him the election he was supposed to win. no-no, your message was received loud and clear by the 'minorities',those binders of women, young adults and yes, even whitey... but he didn't stop there.. re his 47% comment dude, it wasn't 'twisted' or 'distorted' it was taken verbatim from your lips.. and it didn't 'come out wrong'.. you were clear and concise.. you simply got caught pandering to an elitist crowd and playing up the 'they just take take take from you good hard-working folk' card..own it already. ugh!

Facts are the center. We don’t pretend that certain facts are in dispute to give the appearance of fairness to people who don’t believe them. Balance is irrelevant to me. It doesn’t have anything to do with truth, logic or reality. ~Charlie Skinner (the Newsroom)

I always liked the defense of the 47 percent. That somehow, because he said it in private, it wasn't what he meant, the context came across awkward and wrong as opposed to what he believed, or that what you say in private should somehow have no bearing on the non-private.
So either he's the guy that tells N jokes when he's in a safe, non-confrontation, non-judgmental environment...or he's the guy willing to tell a N joke to be accepted, even though he'd never tell one in his non-private life. Either way...he's screwed.
It's like the people who tried to defend Dog the Bounty Hunter for his 100 kiloton N bombs. "He was on the phone, in a private conversation...it doesn't count!" Ummmm, yes it does...it's public now. The difference between who you are and what you say in private...and not...is just the reality of exposure.

There won't be problems like this anymore with the new kindler gentler party of the re-invented Rick Scott and Jeb Bush. What will be interesting to me is how many people will buy their re-tooled bullshit?
