Caught in the act!

As usual, I called this one from the beginning...

Quote
A top Dominican law enforcement official said Friday that a local lawyer has reported being paid by someone claiming to work for the conservative Web site the Daily Caller to find prostitutes who would lie and say they had sex for money with Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.).

The lawyer told Dominican investigators that a foreign man, who identified himself as “Carlos,” had offered him $5,000 to find and pay women in the Caribbean nation willing to make the claims about Menendez, according to Jose Antonio Polanco, district attorney for the La Romana region, where the investigation is being conducted.

Can we just ship Tucker Carlson off to prison now?

Well, if this holds up to be true, Carlson is a bigger piece of shit than I thought he was already, and I hope Sen. Menendez sues him into literal oblivion.

That was someones reputation and life they were fucking with...for...I don't know why.  I don't know if Carlson had an axe to grind or if he thought 5k and a lie was a great way to *legitimize* The Daily Caller...either way, again, if true...he can rot in hell.

The sad thing is, if this pans out, the fringe right will throw him love anyway...even more so...because in an *ideological war*...he did the RIGHT thing.

This whole thing started to fall to pieces a cpl weeks ago.. ABC came out with a story that they were contacted along with the Daily caller, but they just didn't buy the woman's story so they didn't run it.. Tucker came  back after that abc piece and said they had been speaking to a different woman, that their (tucker's) woman was legit..

odd that there is a lawyer running around down there with so many real and fake women claiming shit against a Dem  that they just have to sell to american media..*rollseyes*

here's what I want to know.. Brietbart's been caught lying. James O'Keefe's been caught lying to the point of being forced to pay the victim of his piece $150k. Fox? Well just the election results on their own fucked them.. and now their last darling, Tucker, has been caught making so much shit up that Fox won't even run the story anymore...

but it's the 'LSM' that's full of shit and Obama cool-aid?

I don't understand their hard on for Menendez. Sure, he's an immigration reform advocate, but why the absolute hatred? This stuff's been going on for well over a year, with one unfounded charge after another.

It's because they're rabid.

This stopped being about journalism or hard hitting pieces the second journalism or hard hitting pieces weren't delivering the type of ire, scandal, and ideological opposition slamming individuals like Briebart, O'Keefe, and now Carlson, feel the 4th estate should be bringing and conveying...every single day.

If their true intent was journalism or hard hitting pieces, that while tracking down information and truths, ended up being scathing as a result of the light shed on the particular subject...they're doing it wrong.

Their motivation and tenacity, as it pertains to *journalism*, has a pre-condition.  That being...that their political *journalism* (which there's nothing wrong with that. there are many reporters who deal specifically with politics) must operate as a function that EXPRESSLY blasts/condemns or relays negative ideological intrigue.  THAT is not *journalism.* That is propaganda.  If you're a political reporter, even one who identifies personally with a certain ideology (and everyone does to some degree), you stopped being a real journalist the second you rationalize that your ideology dictates and directs what political stories you'll print or pursue.  And especially when it's done with the pre-intent of ideological disparagement.  We don't need positive or negative cheerleaders for the ideology you bathe yourself in as your identifier.  It divides us and is a completely foul and loathsome use and abuse of the institution of journalism.

I think we're being dishonest calling the Daily Caller, et al, journalism. That's why I said "yellow journalism". I wrote my college thesis on it.

That's it exactly isn't it..

they aren't searching for news, they are scouring and pillaging for the next big scandal against the democrats.. if a (R) is somehow mixed into the scandal, he's dropped.. if not the whole story, and the march to ruin Obama or his party goes on..
