If NPR discussed things like, oh say, the great wisdom of supply side economics, How Unions hurt the average work'in man, more of a need to have our presence in "worrisome" countries, the need for even lower taxes/extending tax breaks for the wealthy indefinitely,...things would have gone quite differently.
