when Newt and Bachman tell you to slow down on a charge against Obama... Slow-the-fuck-down.
And now we have this...
WASHINGTON -- "
Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) said earlier this week in a little-noticed interview that he knew "approximately" what the IRS inspector general would report about selective targeting of conservative groups, but that it wasn't appropriate to "accuse the IRS until you've had a nonpartisan, deep look."
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/18/darrell-issa-irs_n_3299624.htmlOhhhhhhhh. Sounds like someone got all, "non-conclusion before the conclusion" suddenly. Wonder what rattled his chains? Because he sure as hell has gone into every "potential watergate!" accusation mode, on other items, with even less to go on than this.
Could it be that we found out that he, among others, were informed by the IG of problems back in June of 2012...and did nothing? And further more, the IG posted this on their website in October of the same year...still...not a peep. This wouldn't be excellent political fodder for election points? Hmmmm. Curiouser and curiouser.
I wonder if the peeps at American Crossroads and Americans for Prosperity told him to shut it the fuck down, before the next logical step in scrutiny (which should have been the first) FINALLY aimed the *outrage* right in their direction...?
