Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) tried Tuesday to explain away her recent Revolutionary War gaffe delivered during an appearance in New Hampshire over the weekend, saying that the only reason the media covered it was because of its anti-conservative "double standard."
"I made a mistake; I should've said Massachusetts rather than New Hampshire," she said on the Laura Ingraham show Tuesday, according to The Hill. "We all know that there's a double standard in the media," she continued, before claiming that "all 3,400 members of the mainstream media are part of the Obama press contingent."
