Isn't it amazing? To Darth and EKG...I fault, in major proportion, the press.  They've abdicated their duty in this insane push to be neutral, unbiased. It's letting fucking idiots, who think a committee should take just as seriously their idea of bringing coleslaw as a better idea than potato salad to the annual city summer picnic, is JUST as important as talking about some pipe mains that burst.

"Well this is just as important!"

"No, no it's not really...and while we appreciate that you want the annual city summer picnic to be good, please don't...wait...ya know what...shut the fuck up...Seriously.  You're talking about god damn coleslaw when we're trying to get a handle on raw fuckin sewage spilling everywhere!"

The press, be it Dem or Repub, should address items for what they are.  If the Repubs are slinging crazy around...then take them to task with a vengeance.  If the Dems are slinging crazy around...then take them to task with a vengeance. But do so based on facts, real facts as they relate to the situation...and not sidebars...appearing for equivalencies sake...that don't really have anything to do with what's going on.  You don't introduce nuance and greys where none exist...or where it has little to do with the situation...because you don't want to *appear* to be biased.

I have no doubt that Dems can be just as big of dicks as the Repubs...but right now...the Repubs are being the uber assholes...call that shit out.

ding-ding-ding...

exactly...there should be no room for 'sides' when it comes down to facts..and the idea that the media can't call a fact a fuckin fact without being labeled 'lame-stream media' by some psychotic Alaskan 1/2 wit should enrage the media...instead, they've decided to cower even farther under the bed and hide from the people bullying them...

it's times like this I really miss Olberman.. Undecided

In the media's  quest (Oh the irony) other than Fox to be fair, and "balanced" they present both sides as if they had the same merit.  Fuck fair, and balanced.  They need to be fair, and factual.  How about fair, and honest?  But like everything else in this country it's probably about the money.  They don't want to piss off one group, and have them not watch/listen/read their shit anymore thus losing revenue.  Every one's just another cocksuckin whore.  Truth be damned.

John Stewart nailed it again last night.  In his opening he exposes how 80 Republican congresspersons signed a contract to tie appropriations to the debt ceiling....appropriations that specifically (at first) asked for a defunding of the ACA (yea right)...and now they're sticking to a false equivalency that if businesses can be exempt for a year to get their shit in order...then so should any individual. I won't bore you with why this is a flaming false equivalency (unless you WANT to know more, then I will)...and the press, once again, are NOT drowning this false equivalency with the reality of what's going on.  Bravo you fuckapes.

Now, the very assholes who shut the Government down, are sporting balls the size of Godzilla's nuts, that only a moronic, ignorant public devoid of all fucking logic could radioactively enhance, stand in front of the very memorials they closed to ask the moronic, ignorant public devoid of all logic, "Why did you shutdown this memorial Mr. President...why? *sniff-sniff*"  It doesn't just boggle the mind...it explodes it.  Not one single person seems to have enough curiosity to ask,...

..."Uh...so unless the President, concedes to demands that are specifically designed to boondoggle the ACA, demands that will add to other problems that may arise (as problems often do during the implementation of new programs), then it's the President's fault the Government is shutdown? That doesn't sound at all right or without malicious intent. How does not conceding to demands specifically designed to cause problems, make it his fault?"
