Do they really think that when they spout stupid shit like this it just wafts off into the air, never to be repeated?

That might be one of the most insane attempts at false equivalency/comparison/out-of-touch statements I have come across in a long time...dated or not.  How old was he when he was quoted saying that?  I'll assume he was 11 or 12. Seven maybe?
