Copying and pasting from notepad,word..etc for whatever reason skews the characters.  I tried blogginh in both and pasting into the blog and  I would always have random characters like ¥#¢£ and so on showing in place of real letters

Could be the same here.

Happens whether I type it in or if I copy/paste. And what I copy/paste won't work the first time but will work the second or third time, so don't think it's random characters. Not sure what's going on.
