A headline that would make Drudge proud!

Really!

Screw dem messicans!

Quote
Breaking with a bipartisan tradition kept by previous House speakers, Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio) announced that he is not putting on a Cinco de Mayo reception at the Capitol next month.

“We've told the Hispanic Caucus that they are welcome to host one this year,” said Boehner spokesman Michael Steel. “The speaker won't personally be hosting it, but we are supportive of them having it.”

Leaders of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus reached out to Boehner earlier this month urging him to host the reception. It has been an annual event since at least 2003, when Illinois Republican Dennis Hastert was the House speaker.

Don't you think it's part of the message?

Twenty-Two Sniveling Senators Ask Double-Talking Barack Obama To Stop Deporting Undocumented Youth. Change Unlikely.

It came to my attention through Amy Goodman on Democracy Now, Obama's deportation practices. These are just some that came up on a news search today.

I'm not sure it qualifies as losing his cool but it's interesting to notice how his public demeanor has changed from the campaign days and honeymoon until now. There were a lot more declarative sentences before he was in office.

Are you aware of the efforts the President has made in support of the Dream Act?

I'm just going on actual news that has occurred. I don't even have a position on it at this point. From what I've seen if the pres did or does support the Dream Act, it's not evident in the directives that ICE have been carrying out.
