I don't know anything about servers. However, I don't see how embedding would slow the gerbil wheel down, it's still being hosted at youtube if I'm not mistaken. I was mentioning it so that ya'll would know it's not just an isolated issue. I believe that if you don't reboot weekly or whatever, that would contribute to slowness.
Nah...it's not the embedding of videos or pics. It's an entry-level server trying to keep up with the increased traffic. The muche once had the same problem.
Guess I needs to send a letter...
