well, here's the thing..
I'm kinda proud of this guy.. why? because it wasn't man he was sending his hot-bod pics to and the person was over 18. usually when it adult,man/woman love it's a Dem thing..not this time.. he ventured into 'Dem-world' and that makes me proud...
but I don't think 'bipartisan' means what he thinks it means..

Other than his untimely comments about posting stuff others can see on the internet, he seems
is
was a moderate Republican.
There's no history of extreme "family values", "a marriage is between a man and a woman", "Jesus is our Lord and Savior and wrote the constitution", "Obama is a socialist muslim", "let's secede from the union" stuff.
Although he was against the Zagroda Health Care Bill, healthcare reform, protection for people in hate crimes (really?) and more...

Gawker is adding another twist in the trials and tribulations of former Rep. Chris Lee (R-N.Y.) Friday, with a report that two D.C.-area transgender women have contacted the publication with stories about making connections with the lawmaker through Craigslist.
Gawker, which broke the original story about Lee's contact with a single woman on the site, reports:
In the past 10 days, two D.C.-area transgender women contacted us, each with a separate story about exchanging emails with the ex-congressman
. One sent us an ad that Lee allegedly posted on Craigslist in search of trans women; the other sent us a never-before-seen photo that she says Lee sent her after they started chatting by email. Taken together, they present a possible explanation to those who have wondered why such a tame "sex scandal" forced Lee's hand so quickly.
I fucking love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of trans makes me think of when men dress like women. That's a thing that I don't understand, why it exists and how it's a turn on. It was never funny to me in the least in film either, I never watched them or in any other way enjoyed it. Like why is it a turn on to some homosexuals? Or whoever? If I liked men, why would it be a kick to have them dressed like a woman. Can anyone explain it?

Are you kidding? To Wong Foo? Priscilla: Queen of the Desert? Fuckin' hilarious!

Matt: There's too many subspecies (lol) to the category "trans" to make such a blanket group of statements.
Most cross-dressers are straight. The turn on is for them. Transgender is in the mind, it's how the person thinks of themselves (male or female) and has nothing to do with sexuality. It has to do with what they want to be. Transsexuals, again, can be hetero, gay, bi, or whatever. For some of them it's a desire to be the other sex, sometimes coupled with a genetic discrepancy and sometimes results in a surgery.
Drag queens (again there's certain subsets to them too) are, for the most part, entertainers. They are normal gays who work daytime jobs and dress up at night. Strange factoid: A lot of drag queens I've known have "straight" boyfriends: Men who consider themselves and think of themselves as hetero. Another strange factoid: Don't piss off a black drag queen: She will beat the fucking hetero right outta ya!

It wouldn't be to me. I was somewhere that I didn't have a choice once and saw most of Doubtfire. Aside from music, I'm largely disconnected from pop culture and have never been to the opening day of anything. Musicals make me want to vomit. I've not seen any of the newer Star Wars and NEVER seen Rocky Horror and won't! I'm into subtle and the story and characters, no slapstick or cross dressing entertainment for me.
fixt quote thingy.

why wouldn't you?
I don't like slapstick either.. RHPS isn't slapstick, it's an experience... I wouldn't tell anyone to see it without the audience participation though, because that's what it's all about.. as for 'no slapstick/cross dressing' well, you'll miss some amazing movies with that kind of prejudice..Some like it Hot,Psycho,Victor/Victoria, Tootsie, and the Birdcage just to name a few...
but it sounds like you're more afraid you might like it in the pants, rather than you are just too good to see something like that..

It's nothing to do with prejudice, I've seen enough of it to know what I like and don't. If someone interprets that as me seeing myself as better, that's not my shit. I really didn't need RHPS explained again lol.

sure, but you weren't just talking about rhps.. you said
"I'm into subtle and the story and characters, no slapstick or cross dressing entertainment for me."
and that prejudice closes the door on many iconic and amazing movies..
as for characters.. Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon in
Some like it hot
. Dustin Hoffman in
Tootsie
. Nathan Lane in
The Birdcage
? you don't know what you're missing by shunning a section of film because you can't understand why it would turn someone on irl..

That is a phrase I never want to hear connected to FooFa again.
Here's the thing, Matt.
Quote
I'm into subtle and the story and characters
The Crying Game
Madame Butterfly
You cannot get any deeper into subtle stories and characters than those two outstanding movies.
Your problem, not that it is one and not that that's the correct term for it, is that you fail to
suspend belief
when watching these movies. You spend too much time questioning why such and such character has to be wearing a dress as opposed to sitting back and watching the development of the character.
Mrs. Doubtfire, one of my favorite movies of all time, was not about Robin Williams running around in a dress. When I looked at Mrs. Doubtfire, or Tootsie for that matter, I didn't see a man in a dress.
I saw the character. I saw the character develop and become (in those cases) a better person within because of what he (the character) learned within the persona of Mrs. Doubtfire and/or Tootsie.

You are correct that it's a prejudice. I didn't see it before and I'm going to make it a point to see some of those.
