Henry Clay just rolled over in his fucking grave. Politics is about comprimise not pushing less than half the populations agenda(shit some would argues less than 1/5 of the population). There is a reason the hard cores on either side rarely win a seat because a majority of voters sit in the middle and jump from one side to the other on various issues. Democracy is built on comprimise and the all or nothing attitude of our politicians is destroying our country. I am just tired of our politicians (both left and right) being compared to Hitler and Nazis. They practiced genocide and try to erase a group of people off the earth. The hyperbole needs to stop.
You might want to brush up on some history. The most productive period since the 80's was a Democratic President who worked with a Republican controlled congress. I just don't get the defend my side mentality no matter how fucking stupid is that stance, because I can't say anything bad about my team.
