I didn't know there was a Who's Blacker Litmus Test, but apparently Fox News is now claiming that Uncle Herman is "more black" than Barack Obama; and if elected should be referred to as the First Really, Really, Really, Really Black Man Elected President of the United States.

Quote
“Well I have a question. Herman Cain, if he became president, he would be the first black president, when you measure it by — because he doesn’t — does he have a white mother, white father, grandparents, no, right? So Herman Cain, he could say that he’s — he’s — he’s the first, uh — he could make the claim to be the first — yeah, the first Main Street black Republican to be the president of the United States. Right? He’s historic too.”

First: Why is it the right wing appoints a white blond-headed female to be the arbiter who's black and who's not? Secondly, how do we know Uncle Herman doesn't have a drop of white blood in him? Was his family sooo protected by their rich white masters over the centuries that Massa never stepped over to the shack for a little brown sugar like, oh, say...Thomas Jefferson did?

Does Ingraham want to rewrite history books to say black heroes such as Booker T Washington, Frederick Douglass, and other famous blacks whose lineage was tainted by a white man were really white?

Dear Bigots: We did not vote for Barack Obama because he's BLACK. Only a racist would think that. We voted for him because he was our best choice to replace the stupidity that was George W. Bush. We voted for him because he was a compassionate, caring, man who spent the good part of his youth as an advocate for the black man.

Unlike, say....Uncle Herman?

CAIN: Lawrence, your attempt to say I sat on the sidelines is an irrelevant comparison that you were trying to deduce from that particular point in time.

O'DONNELL: It's in your book...

CAIN: Now Lawrence, I know what's in my book. Now, let me ask you a question. Did you expect every black student and every black college in America to be out there in the middle of every fight? The answer is no. So for you to say “Why was I sitting on the sidelines?”, I think that is an inaccurate deduction that you are trying to make. You didn't know Lawrence what I was doing with the rest of my life. You didn't know what my family situation may have been.

Maybe, just maybe I had a sick relative, which is why I might not have been sitting in or doing the Freedom Rides. So what I'm saying Lawrence is, with all due respect my friend, your deduction is incorrect and it's not logical. Okay?

Facts are the center. We don’t pretend that certain facts are in dispute to give the appearance of fairness to people who don’t believe them.  Balance is irrelevant to me.  It doesn’t have anything to do with truth, logic or reality. ~Charlie Skinner (the Newsroom)
