I've got to get the young 'un a laptop.. grrrrrrrrrrrrr I don't know shit about laptops..give me a desk top and I'm golden though.. so I guess they should be about the same.. except for the whole battery-life and all.. grrrrrrrrrrrrr I hate reading/comparing this shit, there are just too many choices..

The HP for $248 at Wal-Mart is about as good of a deal is your going to find. Stay away from Acer computers, they suck. |

Thanks for the Acer tip.. the HP I'd love but it's a midnight madness special.. which means there will only be one and it will be in the shoe department or something.. but since that price is out there, I will probably find another one for $50 more in a week or two. That's usually how these things work.. LOL |

I felt bad for people when I was at Wal-Mart. I would know that there was maybe a dozen game systems and there were 4x that many or more people trying to get them. It's funny how you feel attached to the computer you're most familiar with. I was like that about desk tops and now I wouldn't want one. My notebook battery will play about 3 hours of video or much more for lesser demands. I still don't expect to go all iPhoney or Blackberry. |
