Hey, Howey, do I know you by a different name elsewhere? Just wondering.

Hi, there! I’m a PH refugee and retired old fart. More later, I have to get ready for a doctor’s appointment.

President Trump’s internal polling data from March showed him far behind Joe Biden in key battleground states
By KATHERINE FAULDERS, JOHN SANTUCCIandWILL STEAKIN Jun 14, 2019, 2:32 PM ET

Data from President Donald Trump's first internal reelection campaign poll conducted in March, obtained exclusively by ABC News, showed him losing a matchup by wide margins to former Vice President Joe Biden in key battleground states.

Trump has repeatedly denied that such data exists.

The polling data, revealed for the first time by ABC News, showed a double-digit lead for Biden in Pennsylvania 55-39 and Wisconsin 51-41 and had Biden leading by seven points in Florida. In Texas, a Republican stronghold, the numbers showed the president only leading by two points.

I find it interesting that the government won't even tell the president why they conduct covert operations such as this. Are they concerned he's going to go running to Putin?

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/15/us/politics/trump-cyber-russia-grid.html

WASHINGTON — The United States is stepping up digital incursions into Russia’s electric power grid in a warning to President Vladimir V. Putin and a demonstration of how the Trump administration is using new authorities to deploy cybertools more aggressively, current and former government officials said.

In interviews over the past three months, the officials described the previously unreported deployment of American computer code inside Russia’s grid and other targets as a classified companion to more publicly discussed action directed at Moscow’s disinformation and hacking units around the 2018 midterm elections...

Two administration officials said they believed Mr. Trump had not been briefed in any detail about the steps to place “implants” — software code that can be used for surveillance or attack — inside the Russian grid.

Pentagon and intelligence officials described broad hesitation to go into detail with Mr. Trump about operations against Russia for concern over his reaction — and the possibility that he might countermand it or discuss it with foreign officials, as he did in 2017 when he mentioned a sensitive operation in Syria to the Russian foreign minister.

I got here because of Howey as well. Glad to see this forum has a no trolling policy! I am a 52 year old mens league hockey player who happens to be gay. In such an alpha male sport, I have never felt so loved and accepted. That might surprise a lot of people, but hockey players are the best people. One example, last year I was playing a game and one of the guys on the opposing team called me a faggot repeatedly. That is very against the rules in our league. But rather than reporting it, I talked to a few guys I knew on the opposing team and let them know what happened. I left it at that. Well, the next season we played that team again and I did not see that player. I asked the guys I knew on that team where he was. They said, "He's gone man. He was a dick to begin with, but when you told us what he said to you, that was the last straw. He admitted it too. We got rid of him. We don't want shit like that on our team. Plus, what if we wanted you to sub for us? You wouldn't feel comfortable and wouldn't do it." Wow, I did not expect that at all. That was really impressive.

I do not tolerate stupidity or ignorance. I think religion is perfectly fine unless it is abused to hurt people. Facts are facts and there are no "alternative" facts. Trolls suck and need to be eradicated.

Now that that's out of the way, let's converse and actually try to solve problems instead of pointing fingers at each other. Smiley

Wow, this guy is an idiot. If you had a brilliant scientist whose talent would help people survive on Mars and he or she happened to be gay, you'd take them there. It's not as if gay people can't reproduce. There this neat thing called artificial insemination. It works pretty well. Chances are that if you could only take 40 people to Mars in such a situation, and indeed if we were capable of even getting people there, the problem of reproduction would be solved beforehand, regardless of who was involved.

I mean come on, chances are that the most qualified people to go would not even be married or even romantically involved. Would it be required of those people to have sex to procreate? Probably not.
