He said "students"...
Newt never said anything about employeeing middle school or elementry school students either !!!

at 44 seconds into the clip...a cunt says
"i'm not sure that someone in middle school should be cleaning up after their classmates. Because what sort of message does that send to that child ?"
Newt never said in that clip anything about using middle school students for that job...
and god forbid that students be given a chance to learn responsibility at the high school level and earn some money....

It helps to know what you're talking about 1)before throwing words like 'cunt' around and 2)before calling something 'bullshit'. Gingrich pointed to successful acquaintances as examples of the benefits of beginning a job early in life.

Nope... it is not clear at all... you won't be hired by a burger flipping company if you are underage... and nothing is stopping kids from working for themselves at any age...mowing lawns... babysitting...etc...etc... Newt is just trying to provide more opportunities for high schooler's and those interested in bettering themselves... and as i said before....the video was a bullshit slant even after the quotes both you and howie responded with.... interesting how those quotes show up after the fact and still don't lead to where either of you are trying to take it.... yes i don't search the web for news stories...i only interact with whatever the two or three of you offer...i don't go hunting for extra info generally...i work with whatever you have to offer... i am a fan of debating...not so much arguing...but i enjoy conversations and communication... i hold none of you any higher in regards than the other...and i don't give a fuck where you place me !!! i will be me...draw correlations with me to whomever you wish..."lilboh" it bothers me none !!! and i won't be chased away...unlike others |

I can see you blowing your stacks about repealing child labor laws, although the actual effects of that would be minimal, but what's wrong with having kids do shit at school, like clean up? I think that's a good way to start learning some real basic skills. Everybody, and I mean everybody, should know how to push a broom, mop a floor, or buff a hallway. If that is what you find offensive I admit I don't get that.

I always thought kids went to school to learn and gain social skills. When I grew up, we did chores at home to learn responsibility. But, of course, you guys didn't have that problem, don't you. I'm sure all respectable Republican children had illegal Mexican maids to clean their rooms and illegal Mexican gardeners to rake the leaves.  |
