It baffles me how anybody can be staunchly for one over the other. Maybe you can enlighten me
. Obama has not only continued every single Bush era program and policy but expanded the PA. Everyone knows the real unemployment rate is well into double digits, he filled the cabinet with Goldman Sachs and Monsanto former employees(after pre election claims to the contrary), claims that the country is hungry for a civilian military counterpart to the military, to name a few of the many examples of hypocrisy, not to mention that the same financiers backed McCain that backed him.
Take money out of politics, and a majority of this goes away. No ones beholden, no one HAS to cow tow to big money to run for office. To many favors are tied to politics, exceedingly so now. Even someone who might want to "fix" things, is at the mercy of their political coffers.
