It's sorta of sobering (pun intended) to know that back during the height of Monster fans Chronic Sodom and Gomorrah, you'd evidently be in wholly safer company with a bunch of pot smoking, titty-ass flashing, dick waving, cocaine snorting, shit talking, drunk as fuck, wife swapping, crazy muther fuckers...than you would being in the judgmental company of these legislators, if something went down.
That's fucking surreal man.

I had just met Grumpy*... seriously, met them the weekend before.. went to a pred's game the next week that they were playing at out in the parking lot before the game.. after the show, I went my merry way and got into it, toe-to-toe, with a dude I won't name.. we were at each others throats, in each others faces, yelling,screaming and about 4 seconds from him or me getting hit.... then he looked over my shoulder.. and sorta backed down.. I took a glance and there was the guys from Grumpy*(in full 'grumpy*' gear-lol) about 5 steps behind me just hanging out..
didn't know me from shit.. but it didn't matter.
another time.. Monsterween, I was already shitfaced since it was my b/day and DJ handed me down a bottle of Tequila for a present.. chugged most of it and went to whole new level of drunk..don't remember much after that except for being 1/2 carried thru the wafflehouse parking lot by Buz from Grumpy* and him saying "your husband sooooo owes me".. HA! there was never a question as to whether I was 'safe' or not..
I've been a no condition for public a few times..from the woods, to house parties to heavy metal concerts to private hoity-toity colleges... and quite a few of those times I had no 'man' with me to protect me.. and I've only ever felt "Oh shit, I'm gonna get raped" once... and that was at wellesley college up in Mass. I was at a party surrounded by a bunch of Jr. Romneys and Trumps and felt very very much like...well, like prey... I never felt that way with the monster fans,rodeo fans,metal fans.. druggies,surfers,rednecks or many of the other types I've partied with in my lifetime..
not saying I didn't come across many guys who could have hurt me had they really wanted.. but they wouldn't have been in they majority..and they'd have had to go thru quite a few other people to get to me..
you and I and many of the people we know and hand around with weren't raised much differently from each other.. so we just don't understand what these asshole 'GOP'ers' disconnect is.. and they us..
