The official BULLSHIT spin from an email I got from congressman Daniel Webster.  I can't believe they have the fuckin balls to put this shit out there.  But what I really can't believe is that the media doesn't call them out on it.

"The Senate should have joined us in ending these special treatments and keeping the government open. Instead the Senate voted to shutdown the government rather than give up Obamacare exemptions.
Regardless of the Senate’s decision to join us in averting a government shutdown, Americans expect the Senate to now work towards a solution for the problem they created. Yet Senator Harry Reid has refused to even meet with the House of Representatives, slamming the door on our efforts to talk and work through our differences in order to reopen the government.

Until Senate Democrats come to their senses and work with us, I will continue working to ensure there is no special treatment under Obamacare for Members of Congress and the President and to reopen the government."

I saw the Senate spin they're attempting...and while I have zero doubts old soft spoken Harry Reid can be a real dick kicker, only the ideologues are going to buy that shit.  Everyone else, with even a quarter of their non-ideological brain functioning, knows EXACTLY who to point a finger at, this go round.

As I said before, trying to find an equivalency for giving business and corps an extra year on the ACA and your average citizen deserving of the same thing, is a crock of ever loving bullshit.  They know why, but that won't stop them from trying to cause further division...it's in their best interest...because they want the ACA dead in the water. It's an abortion they approve of.  This thing will only truly work as long as the numbers are their in sign-up.

"We have to get SOMETHING out of this."  They came to the table, with nothing...nothing. But now it's the President's job to help them save face, which in turn they'll use as an opportunity to shit on him and the ACA...why the fuck would he do that?  Why would any rational human being do that?

It's like you're finally getting the better of a bully whose been a dick to you since you've met, and as the crowd grows bigger watching this shit go down, the bully says softly from the head lock you have them in, "Please man, please Gawd man, don't do this. This is all I've got...please let me kick your ass...I'm fucking begging you man! And if I can't kick your ass...can you please, for the love of Gawd, make it look like a draw so I can at least walk away with my bully pride?"  Who in their right fucking mind would do that?

Matt Kibbe, leader of the tea party (I know you've seen him)

was on Maher last night.. I actually like this guy. I don't agree with him, but he's the closest 'sane' tea-partier I've seen... anyway, Maher handed him his ass last night when he tried that "Well Obama's already set a precedent by delaying parts of Obamacare already..." line... Maher said "Wait a minute.. are you saying you would have been OK with the ACA if Obama hadn't delayed the employer mandate?".. Kibbe said "No way".. and Maher said "Exactly..so stop trying to use it as an argument.."

LOL

Facts are the center. We don’t pretend that certain facts are in dispute to give the appearance of fairness to people who don’t believe them.  Balance is irrelevant to me.  It doesn’t have anything to do with truth, logic or reality. ~Charlie Skinner (the Newsroom)
