As the Republican War on Women continues, we find Mick Huckabee declaring that a woman's only purpose in life is to get free birth control. Yes, that's what he said.

http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2014/01/23/huckabee-riffs-on-uncle-sugar-and-womens-libidos/

Quote
“Women I know are outraged that the Democrats think that women are nothing more than helpless and hopeless creatures whose only goal in life is to have the government provide for them birth control medication,” he added. “Our party stands for the recognition of the equality of women and the capacity of women. That’s not a war on them, it’s a war for them.”

After seeing that the 1950's tactic of slut shaming women into a desired conformity was an abysmal failure, which further fractured and dis-empowered the current Republican party, now they're trying to convince you that slut shamming and cunt control never happened. They've only wanted to empower women...where as the Dem's, with their want of free or easily accessible birth control for women and young ladies, just shows you it's not Repubs with the libido fixation, but Libs!... thinking no better of you than nymphomaniac whores...immune to pregnancy with the birth control...cannibals that need the cock!

He wishes to completely misrepresent and rewrite literal recent history and pretend that the actual message of liberals/progressives/dems wasn't, "for those wanting to be responsible with their reproductive process, birth control should be easily accessible."...But instead , "Go have crazy sex everywhere, with everyone!" It doesn't occur to him that committed couples might not want to get pregnant now or ever, or more casual couples might not want to get pregnant during an even more casual romp...because to Huckabee and many of his like minded party members, if you have sex...it's for babies! Make babies! It's a fuckin baby tsunami for Jesus! Don't you fuckin dare enjoy or even engage in sex outside of marriage...heathen!

So now he's re-imagining accessible birth control as sex candy and it's the dem's who are handing it out as they twirl their handle bar mustaches and laugh a maniacal sex laugh, for no other reason than to disparage women and how far they've come...the very thought!. Not sure what that maniacal sex laugh sounds like, but I'm positive it would be interesting and I'd stand in line to hear it. Because there's absolutely no way, anyone or any party could support easily accessible birth control for women, for any other reason than to suggest that women just can't control their libido's..oh no!

Can you believe how this ass is trying to switch up the reality we've all been living as if what he's saying is the unabashed truth?

Michael Steele was on HardBall trying to defend what Huck said.. In essence, Steele said Huck wasn't trying to fixate on a women's libido, he admittedly used the wrong word and wasn't articulate in his message, but the message he was really trying to put forth was that the Dems have been railing about the GOP War on Women, when in fact.. it's the DEms who have that war because they constantly reduce any argument about women down to abortion and birth control..

uhmm.....

hmmmm....

maybe.... just fucking maybe... the Dems wouldn't ever bring up abortion and/or birth control if fucking idiot men in the GOP didn't bring up, all on their own, stupid fucking comments about magical pussy-juice that repelled sperm, or birth control and libido, personhood laws that reduce women to incubators (like that poor soul in Tx),transvaginal ultrasound laws..  etc etc..

The other guest (can't remember her name) on HB told Steele he was basically full of shit.. No one asked Huck a question, there was'nt anyone from the DNC or 'liberal media' there asking him and that was his answer.. he brought it up on all on his own the same way all the other idiot GOP men have..She said she would love to talk about women's issues like equal pay or defending of headstart but unfortunately women are always having their issues derailed by GOP idiots who think rape is just a bad choice on the woman's part..

it's amazing that they can turn this around into a "Why are you always bringing up these issues".. when in fact it's not us bringing them up, it's us replying to them when they bring it up..

ugh..

I LOVE what the "other guest" said. Yea for her!

And if he hasn't noticed, Dems are doing a lot more for women in terms of pay equality and what not than Repubs are doing.

They want to stop talking about abortion and birth control? stop trying to take it away. And now talk about all the other things we want - equal pay, raise in the minimum wage, health care options, more women in politics, in the CEO's office, in non-traditional occupations, affordable day care, etc etc etc.  Oh yeah - how about extending unemployment benefits? when families are stressed for money, women are pretty negatively impacted...

They do this shit all the time.  Say something or do something that makes most everyone else just sit and blink, blank and expressionless, and then they're like, "Whaaaaa? Wha'd I say?" And then a short time later, with balls the size of a Volvo, they will look you dead in the eye and insist that you need to stop engaging in the very thing that left you slack jawed when you heard them say it the first time...and you're just like, "Huuuuuuuuuuuuh??? Fucking exccuuussseee me???"

This whole thing needs to be re-framed.  You need to take your incubator comment one step further.  Ask them directly if they feel it's OK to usurp a woman's freedoms/rights, in favor of a biological process that may or may not go full term and that may or may not cause short and long term medical/mental issues and even death.  Force them to admit that they think it's perfectly acceptable to strip the rights and freedoms of an already existing sentient being, for maybe's and potential death.  "Well what about the babies rights!?"  Oh, you mean the zygote, that may make it to a fetus, that then might make it out of the birth canal alive, that may or may not make the woman carrying it medically or mentally ill or kill her?

I couldn't fucking imagine being told, "Oh, you have no choice in this matter, you're going through with this process whether it medically or mentally harms or kills you or not." I would flip my fucking shit! "But if it might medically, mentally harm or kill me, shouldn't I have some say in this? I mean it is my body being used...?"  "Nope...shut the fuck up and gestate bitch!"

Weeelllll well...

"Huckabee signed state legislation in 2005 that required all health insurance plans providing prescription drug coverage to cover contraceptive drugs and devices as well. According to the Arkansas Times, Huckabee's exemption for religious organizations was actually narrower than the exemption in the Affordable Care Act:

But like the original federal regulation proposed by Obama, the Arkansas law did not exempt church-affiliated hospitals and universities. It exempts only "religious employers" that are nonprofit organizations whose primary mission is "the inculcation of religious values," and primarily employ people who share the same religion, a standard few Catholic hospitals meet."

So if I run a non-profit, church affiliated business I can control the bodies of my female employees...Nice, NOT!

It's happening right now in Tx.. albeit the 'mother' in brain dead.. but her bones are so brittle they crack when her limbs are too stiff... an she is 100%, without a doubt, brain D-E-A-D..... the family wants her taken off life support and the hospital refuses to because TX law won't allow it..  It's fucking horrific at this point. She is so 'dead' she smells of death because her body is decomposing..   Oh God,the fetus IS, without a doubt, completely fucked up from feeding off a dead body's fluid.. they know it's physically deformed by being hydro cephalic.. and they can't tell the sex of if because the deformations are so extreme.. they can only assume how damaged the fetus is mentally..

but you can't kill the bay-beeeeee.... Holy hell what is wrong with people..

since nov 28 the family has been going thru this horror... I mean WTF did the doctors and 'pro-lifers' think they were actually growing inside this woman.. when the doctors themselves knew the fetus was not viable.. but they continued with this 'experiment' because of sever TX abortion laws..

finally today, a judge ordered the hospital to remove her from life support but it remains to be seen if the hospital will fight the court order or not..

I could not imagine the horror that family is going thru.. knowing that your wife is dead and the child you were looking to bring into the world is not only gestating in a petri dish of decomposing filth, but every day because of that it's growing more and more horrendous... Jesus, if that fetus went to term.. I couldn't imaging the type of pain and horror that family would have gone thru.. That's some serious Stephen King shit right there..

People get confused as well.  When they say she was "ventilated" or being ventilated...it means a machine was breathing for her.  She was brain dead.  Everything that was her was gone, never to return.  That she was being ventilated didn't change that fact.  She was a corpse (just being blunt), whose bodily processes were being simulated, as well as they could be, through external mechanized means.  She was still decaying...perhaps at a slower rate, but the process of death wasn't being stopped because she's on a ventilator or fluids were being pumped into her body.  It's not the same thing as someone being in a coma, who might need assistance breathing or staying fed...she was frigging brain dead. No recovery. No opening her eyes a year later to the relief and joy of family and friends.  She was never coming back...because she was dead.

The fetus, for all the medical and mechanical intervention the hospital was using, was likewise *decaying*...in every sense of the word.  Again, it wasn't a fetus inside a coma patient.  It was a fetus inside a dead body.  This whole friggin thing was so ghoulish, I can't do it likewise ghoulish justice.

Now I hear (not sure if true, but not hard to believe) that the hospital plans on billing Mr. Munoz for every single penny of their intervention and macabre intrusion.  I hope he sues the ever living fuck out of them.

That would just be - awful. They didn't ask for it. It's up to the hospital to pay for the costs of maintaining a corpse. Damn straight he should sue them if they try to recover one thin dime.

UpDate:

She's been taken off "life support" (I hate that they use that term for someone who was completely brain dead).

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/01/26/marlise-munoz_n_4669990.html#comments

A brain-dead pregnant woman was taken off life support on Sunday, her family said, according to CNN.

"The Muñoz and Machado families will now proceed with the somber task of laying Marlise Muñoz’s body to rest, and grieving over the great loss that has been suffered," the family said in a statement. "May Marlise Muñoz finally rest in peace, and her family find the strength to complete what has been an unbearably long and arduous journey."

Life support was terminated at 11:30 AM on Sunday, according to WFAA.
