We sure do like to wait until the last possible moment before we truly address something.
I wonder how long the fringe right will be part of the house and senate before the rest of everybody else who isn't extreme is like, "heeey, ya know, maybe we should take these primaries and general elections more seriously."...?
Apathy and over confidence brought us 2010. I'd really rather we keep moving away from that instead of back towards it.

In our case, McClintock started sending mailers promoting the libertarian candidate in the race - made him seem liberal, trying to get dems to vote for him so the moderate repub wouldn't make it thru the top 2 primary. Of course, McClintock would win no prob against the libertarian... The moderate, Art Moore, just barely squeaked through in 2nd position. And it's all because people aren't paying attention.
Still a good chance McClintock will win ...but at least now there's a chance he'll lose.
