Anything that I pack for lunch is bound to be better than school lunch--have you EATEN a school lunch lately? Atrocious. Frozen popsicles count as a "fruit", they load the meal up with carbs and processed meat, and every single kid drinks chocolate milk.
we had awesome school lunches growing up.. just the rolls alone were worth dying for.. and the spaghetti? mmmmmm,mmmm, MMMMMM...spaghetti sammich on a fresh 'n hot yeast roll... aaaa I miss..
when I got to Mel hi they had an actual salad bar with more stuff on it than you could pay for at Ryan's. Great googly-moogly they had an awesome salad bar and dressings..
but yes, it's pretty lacking these days..
but it's still better than soda and ..
